About FinTools4U
FinTools4U is a free suite of educational financial calculators. Our goal is clarity: interactive tools that help you explore scenarios without accounts, paywalls, or sending your inputs to a server for calculation.
Educational tools only. FinTools4U does not provide financial, tax, or investment advice, and nothing on this site is a personalized recommendation. Calculations stay in your browser.
Who we are
FinTools4U is a free suite of interactive financial calculators designed to help people worldwide make clearer money decisions. We focus on speed, transparency, and education — not sales pitches.
Our purpose
Every calculator runs entirely in your browser. No account required, no data sent to our servers for calculations. We build tools that are easy to share, easy to understand, and useful on any device.
Why this project exists
Many people want a quick, transparent way to explore compound growth, financial independence timelines, mortgages, and debt strategies. FinTools4U focuses on that job: fast calculators, clear charts, and explanations that stay educational — not sales-driven.
Who develops the calculators
FinTools4U is built by Alberto Horta, a software engineer and tech lead based in São Paulo, Brazil. Since 2006 he has worked in Latin America’s banking sector at a financial institution, alongside a background in software engineering, data, and shipping complete products. He is not a licensed financial advisor. Experience here means implementing and checking formulas in code, documenting assumptions, and keeping calculations local to your browser.
How formulas are verified
Each calculator implements well-known mathematical models (for example, monthly compound growth, fixed-rate amortization, and safe-withdrawal FIRE targets). We cross-check outputs against the formulas documented on our Methodology page and against simple hand calculations. Results remain estimates for education, not audited financial advice.
Editorial philosophy
We prefer fewer, clearer pages over thin keyword articles. Tool pages explain what is calculated, what is excluded (taxes, inflation, fees when not modeled), and where to read more from public educational sources. We do not invent credentials or present projections as personalized recommendations.
Update policy
When we change a calculation method or a material assumption, we update the Methodology page and the affected tool copy. Legal pages show effective dates. If you spot an error, contact legal@fintools4u.com.
